The Lice Treatment Center is doctor owned and run. But more importantly, LTC is run by moms. Because of this, we understand the urgency of an infestation of head lice in the home. Our staff of pediatrician trained technicians are available for "house calls" and will be dispatched to your home within hours of your call. Our technicians are courteous and experienced.

Our technicians will come to your home with all the tools necessary to solve your lice problems. Our doctor formulated, all natural, non-toxic and organic products will be used to treat the infestation and help in the process of the comb out. Our technician will separate the hair of the infested person into sections. Section by section and using our special lice comb, we inspect each hair strand and the scalp for live lice or their eggs (nits) and manually remove the bugs and nits. We use special lighting with magnification to make the comb out easier and more thorough. We will remove nits strand by strand.

The combing out procedure usually takes two – four hours, depending on the level of infestation. Our technician will leave the infested person or persons with oil in the scalp that will kill any remaining live bugs (nits cannot be killed and must be physically removed from the hair). Additionally, you will be left with whatever treatment shampoo is left over from your in-home treatment. Also available for sale are our full line of lice treatment and prevention products.

We recommend that every person in the home or anyone that has had physical contact with the infested person be inspected, and if necessary, combed out.
